  • REVIEW: Maple Holistics’ Tea Tree Oil Shampoo

    Maple Holistic Tea Tree Shampoo

Disclaimer: I received this product in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own. Read my disclosure policy for more.

    Hey…hey…hey! Happy New Year!

I can’t believe it’s already 2018, seems like just yesterday we were ringing in 2017. So today we’ll be talking about Maple Holistics’ Special Formula Tea Tree Oil Shampoo.

Over the years, I’ve used various shampoos but none was a regular in my hair care routine. After loc’ing my hair, it became important to have a shampoo not just for washing but a shampoo that cleaned my hair thoroughly, maintained moisture and combats dryness.

I’ve been using this shampoo for roughly about a month now and it has won me over.

    About the Company

Maple Holistics is a brand that solely creates natural and organic beauty products. The brand prides themselves on solely using pure and high-quality ingredients in their products which is evident in this product.

    About The Product

    Maple Holistic Shampoo

The product claims to improve hair and scalp health while promoting hair growth and even slowing hair loss. While I can’t speak about the hair loss aspect, I did notice a major improvement in my scalp. Usually, after a wash day, I’ll add my moisturizing items to my hair but I’ll end up having to repeat the process again during the week because of dry patches in the front and middle of my hair; resulting in an unscheduled wash day.

Using the Maple Holistics Tea Tree Oil Shampoo, I didn’t have to excessively oil my hair. After my wash and initial care, I didn’t have to re-oil my hair which was a big plus for me.

Another big plus is that its made with all natural ingredients which include tea tree oil, jojoba oil, argan oil, lavender oil and rosemary. It’s also cruelty-free, parabens-free, sulfate free (which is great for us gals who have dye jobs), GMO-free, and gluten-free. Need I say more?

    The Price And Smell

The original price was $25 but you can get your very own bottle for $8.95! A great shampoo without breaking the bank.

If you aren’t a fan of tea tree oil then you may not love the smell but I’m a huge fan so the smell was no issue at all.

    The Texture

The shampoo’s texture is very rich and a little does go a long way. However, it does take a bit of work to get a foam lather but it didn’t bother me as I usually take my time to ensure that each loc is cleaned properly.

The clarifying nature of this shampoo is excellent especially for my locs. After one wash most of the grime and dirt in my hair disappeared. I was really impressed by this as it usually takes me at least four washes to get everything out.

    Overall Impressions

I really love this shampoo. There is a visible and physical difference in my hair that I haven’t experienced with many popular shampoos. I’m impressed at how well this shampoo locked in moisture and how soft my hair feels.

My locs are definitely happy and I can’t wait to try other products from their line.

If you’re interested in trying this shampoo, Maple Holistics offers an awesome free samples program for you to try out any of their products. The program gives you the opportunity to try out their products at no cost! All you have to do is fill out a short form here and choose any sample you’d like to try out.

    Sounds easy right?

I love using essential oils in my shampoo, so I’m sure that this really is amazing! I remember using tea tree oil in my daughters shampoo when she went to public school…lice hate it!

Oh now this sounds like something my hair needs, I bet it is so refreshing using a shampoo with tea tree in!

    8. January 8, 2018 / 9:18 pm

I have never seen a tea tree oil shampoo. However now since I saw tea tree helps with dandruff it makes sense to be a perfect shampoo product. I would be open to trying this just because it would be less moisture i would need to add after.

I have been reading about tea tree and how good is for the hair. I haven’t find a shampoo that keeps my hair clean but smooth at the same time. I think is time to try tea tree shampoo.

You definitely should! After one wash, my hair felt super clean. I don’t get that feeling with other shampoos I’ve tried in the past.

That’s funny. I’ve never heard of tea tree oil, and now I’ve read about it twice today. Maybe someone is trying to tell me something about hair loss! Thanks for the review.
