    Keera Organics Tumeric Soap Review

Since summer I have been looking for my holy grail skincare routine. Island Skincare’s Coconut oil was a great find, but I still didn’t have a method. A couple of months ago, I saw several persons on social media raving about the Tumeric soap from Keera Organics.

I’d heard excellent things about Tumeric overall in beauty care, so I quickly googled the nearest outlet so that I could get my hands on the product. Fontana Pharmacy was the nearest outlet in my area, and I wasted no time getting there.

    At Fontana

The shelf at Fontana was nearly empty. I searched for the Tumeric soap, and I only found the Soursop soap which is another product available in their skincare line. I almost gave up, but Nick scoured the shelves and found three soaps tucked away at the back of the haircare products.

This product was so hot that consumers resorted to hiding them for future purchase. I bought all three.

    Sneaky!

Since this soap was good as others say, I decided to purchase all three to ensure my demand.

    At First Glance

    Keera Organics Tumeric Soap
The soap’s packaging is a clear saran wrap with a green and white label which states the brand name, the type of soap, main ingredients and what alleviations it can treat. The bar has a dingy cream colour with little chunks of turmeric-infused in it.

The best thing about this bar….it’s 100% natural ingredients and Jamaica made.

    About The Soap

According to the Keera Organics website, the Turmeric Soap contains organic turmeric plant extract which is extracted from the most potent part of the plant, the root. The formula was devised by their experts so that it works in balance with all skin types and is effective against acne, eczema and Dark spots. The bar apparently has some natural antiseptic and antibacterial properties to fight pimples and breakouts while providing a youthful glow to the skin.

Now, I’ve been using this product a little over two and a half months, and I’ve achieved few results so far. I’ve seen subtle changes in my skin. It’s a bit lighter around my eyebrows and my T-zone, my skin isn’t dry after I’ve washed my face and I’m less oily than I used to be.

However, my skin has a rough texture which shows under my makeup. It almost looks like a dry patch, but my skin isn’t dry. I have a lot more breakouts around the areas that have been lightened, and my dark spots are more visible than before.

I’m not sure if this is a result of the product, but I’m inclined to believe so since it is the only product in my current skincare regime excluding my moisturizer.

    Final Thoughts

I plan to finish the three months as scheduled. However, I don’t think I would repurchase this product for myself. While it did for work for others like my mother, it didn’t work for me. I do give it points for the oil control; I’m less oiler at the end of the day. Overall, based on the results as it relates to my skin, I would give this product a 3/10.

Have any of you tried Keera Organic’s Tumeric soap or any other Tumeric product currently or in the past? Let me know in the comments and share any recommendations.

    Nuff Love, Shevoneese.
